I would do this and I think the pacers will to:

    Francis and Eddie Griffin for
Jamal Tinsley, Al Harrington, and Ron Artest

    Lineups:

    tinsley/wilks/mooch
    mobley/pike
    artest/JJ/A. Griffin
    Taylor/Harrington
    Ming/Cato

    Francis/anderson
    Miller/jones
    Bender/Croshere
    Griffin/Foster
    J-O/Pollard

Id do it in a heartbeat. You guys overrate Cuttino and Steve its rediculous. Just ask Pacers fans and THEY WONT even do the deal. Maybe when this team misses the playoffs,no wait...If we miss the playoffs then Cat/Steve trade value will go even lower than it is now and your window will be lost. Our guards are not winners. You need to be team oriented, tough, pass to open man, play unselfish, and not have an ego,and play great defense and have size. Our guards possess none of these qualities. I cant believe Ming is actually going to leave because of these midget stupid guards. Sheesh. And fans to. Theres alot more to the game than just stats and dunks but talking to alot of fans Im convinced 99% of fans just will never understand that. Even some GM's dont understand that. Cant use the crazy excuse. Rodman has 5 rings. Just checked, its not even Cuttino/steve deal its steve/eddie. OMG and you guys still said no. Damn. Eddie is our third string pf. Plus,Eddie wont even be a Rocket next year .Even though he plays like Horry, right now Taylor and Cato have him beat. Actually I know what the problem is. Most fans in this area are just flat out so conservative that even if we traded Moochie for Artest you would rip up your tickets and not like the rox. Ive already seen it posted here, comments like "if the rockets want to bring in bad character guys just to win more games, then I will not be fan".

Yeah, lets have a bunch of goodie goodies on our team that are cute ,who cares if we make the playoffs.

All you Jamaal Tinssley groupies, imagine a guy who turns the ball over as much as francis, has the same number of assist, and scores 8 points a game.

Yeah, he is just what the doctor ordered....if you want to suck.

Thank you sooooo much.....I just want people to think before making up dumb trades. 0-4 in the PRESEASON and half the forum wants to trade the whole damn roster. This team must learn to play hard and get used to winning. It all starts with one simple word......................HUSTLE. Steve is trying to make something happen at the end of plays because everything in the offense has broken down! Like the coach said; he's trying to hit home runs because he is the last option. Some of you need to KNOW basketball before you SPEAK about basketball!

Suppose that JVG, a stout disciplinarian, decides that Francis is a cancer and needs to go, a big suppose, what makes you think Larry Bird would take him? What’s the motivation in this supposed trade?

Uh, perhaps because he's robbing us of an all star player for a distraction and a nobody?
