It said today in the Houston Chronicle that Francis and Mobley looked like they were at All Star Weekend with all the showboating. I like the showboating but not when you are losing by 26pts.
So, since they were down by a large deficit, Francis should have laid it in instead of dunking it? Geeze, how lame. If you are down, you do anything to get the team, crowd, etc., excited. Why not dunk it hard and slap the glass? I would rather him try to invoke some life into the team by whatever means he can. Good defense would get the crowd into the game as well as help the TEAM get back into the game. All that showboating crap just fires up the opponent. I'm all for enthusiasm, but it must be controlled and used for the betterment of the team, not the individual. DaDakota, don't you know, its all about making espn's highlights with slam dunks. I agree with Finn,all the fancy skipping around and other various taunting only serves to fire the other team up. No thats not what Im saying. I mean't some of the Alley's they were trying to throw when they were getting blown out. Alley's are cool but not when you are losing by 20+ pts.
