John Sally teased him about "crying" after Cuttino was traded. I think he was just messing with him, but Francis says "Yeah, you guys laugh, but it was hard to see Cuttino go. I was very emotional about the trade. Our relationship was about more than basketball." Now you can tell that Sally sort of feels bad for calling him out like that... so he said he cried during his 3rd season when one of his teammates was traded from the Pistons... I didn't catch the guys name Sally was referring to. To lighten the mood, Tom Arnold tells the camera guy to do a split screen of Sally and Francis... then he starts clowning both of them about their little, goofy ears. Finally, Tom Arnold asks Steve if he's going to the Super Bowl this year. Steve said it's only 30 minutes away from Orlando and he'll be there... then he puts his foot in his mouth (as usual) and says "and nobody can stop me... I'll even call Jeff Van Gundy and let him know." Question: Why is it necessary to keep re-hashing this subject. Steve needs to learn to take the high road and shut up sometimes. Hell, last week he said he felt good about coming back to Toyota Center b/c its the arena that "he built." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Rudy and Hakeem lobbied pretty hard for that arena. Your thoughts?
