Maybe trading Francis isn't such a bad idea. Not because I hate him...god knows I've defended him as much as anybody on this board...but if the focus of our offense is going to be the center, then a more traditional point guard would be the best fit. Francis is more effective when he is the focus of the offense, and nobody wants that, at least not on this board. Plus, if Yao is the future of this team, then it doesn't make much sense for the highest paid player to be Steve.
I'm sure Sterling's dying to pick up those contracts. Sorry, Spurs will be picking up Brand with the cap space they have next year.

You, my good sir have a severe case of not watching very many Clippers games. If you had watched every Clippers game this season like a Clippers' fan would do, you would be even more frustrated than you are now. They've sucked more than the Rockets have this season...that's a fact.

Seriously though, I don't doubt that the Rockets are the Clippers b****es. Sometimes certain teams just don't match up well with others...no way to explain it. Trading Francis is definitely a good idea. He works hard but his BB IQ is very low. Look at rocket's loss in the close games, Francis didn't make one single good decision. If we can trade him and get a good PF and someone who can pass the ball, we will be a much better team.
That's what we need...ANOTHER PF. Don't you think we are PF heavy already? I'm not totally opposed to trading Steve...but it would have to be a deal that knocked me right over...getting another PF isn't going to suffice. BTW...don't you think the proposed trade was giving up a little much?
