I don't know if I somone already posted this. But from what I read, Francis wants to be the main event. I don't know if he is trying to bash Yao or what.

Ya know, I am not the biggest Stevie fan around here, but you guys will look for anything to bash him.

BigMoe, your thread title is flat out misleading. Shame on you.

For the record, here are his comments:

"In the five years I've been with the Rockets I think I've earned being the No. 1 option and I want to keep it that way," he stressed to me couple weeks ago while in New York to participate in The Wheelchair Classic.

"Jeff has made it clear to me he wants the offense to be inside out," Francis said.

"There's no doubt Yao gave it up too often," Francis agreed. "At the same time, he hasn't proven he's ready to take over a team. Before you can do that you've got to prove you can take care of Shaq and Duncan, etc., on a nightly basis. That's enough of a burden in itself. Given enough time I'm confident he'll be able to dominate the middle."

In the meantime, Francis declares, "I'll do anything to win and make any sacrifice to make the playoffs."

He is right. Yao is not ready to have the leash of this franchise handed over to him. Yao still has ALOT to learn. Steve is STILL our best player until proven otherwise.

Steve basically said that he thinks Yao does need to be involved more and to take more shots. There is nothing wrong with a player saying that he wants to be a leader on his team.

EDIT: Just realized that this article has already been posted.

    Shame on you again BigMoe.

I personally noticed this last season. You can't go to playoffs if you're number 1 option is Francis. He's got superb basketball skills but last season he made a lot of stupid decisions in the court.

This is all about winning the title. THIS IS NOT A CIRCUS. Majority of the Rockets fans don't want to see Francis flying, but the team winning, playing together as a team .
