    This is according to basketballnews.com....

"One part of the Rockets’ busy offseason is apparently going to be rather easy. That’s because All-Star guard Steve Francis said he plans to accept the team’s projected seven-year, $95 million contract extension, which the Rockets will offer in July. The only NBA player to average at least 20 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists this season, Francis said he is so sure he’s going to re-sign with the Rockets that he doesn’t even need an agent. "There’s no debate about me wanting to be here," Francis said. "I would love to play here. But at the same time, everybody has to be on the same page." Rockets general manager Carroll Dawson has said that said late in the season Francis came into his office and talked about improving the team, starting with getting his own contract extended. "The main thing he was talking about was leadership," Dawson said. "It’s on his mind." The Rockets were 2-23 when Francis was out with injuries this season."

    :) :) :)

Good news is good news even if it's old news.

That's good news, EgRiFf08. Very good news.

See? Steve's so greedy he doesn't even want to cut a measly percentage of his max contract to an agent. Watch out for this one; he knows his migraines are career-ending and is cashing in before everyone realizes he's screwing us over.

PS This just shows how much smarts our little point guard has..who the hell needs to give an agent extra money for a "Max" contract where negotiations are null?? Good job Stevie!
