how about going after a veteran point guard and moving francis to the 2? he would be very affective at the 2. at the point he is having to change his game to pass first and score second. he is a very aggresive scorer and he would fit perfect in the system. only downfall would be defending the other top 2's in the league. but that is what JJ is there for right??? and moving cat and mo t to the 2nd team, we would have a powerful team on the floor at all times. what do you think????
ya, getting a pg who can guared shooting guards and pass the rock would be really nice to have (doesnt have to be a good scorer) so we could move francis to sg but i think 1st priority would be to get a true small forward or power forward, jim jackson is really a shooting guard and cato is obviously a center right now our starting lineup: pg: steve francis (worst t/a ratio of all pgs in the nba) sg: cuttino mobley sf: jim jackson (really a sg playing out of position) pf: cato (a center playing out of position, absolutely no offense) c: yao ming i think we have 3 players in our starting lineup playing their 2nd best position each, we arent getting the most out of our players
Newbie? He registered back in 02, I'm sure he's just someone who lurks a lot and I'm guessing this thread is an example of why
That's a fresh idea. Hey, anybody hear that new Outkast CD, you know, Stankonia? and that Miss Jackson song? Damn, that is tight, I predict a big future for these guys.
Outkast a success? Next thing you'll be be telling me N'Sync will break up (God forbid) and Justin Timberlake will become a superstar AFTER breaking up with Britney.
We already have a sg who is a better sg than Francis. His name is Cuttino Mobley. If Francis can't play the 1, then he needs to play for another team.
Let's move yao to the 4 and start Cato at 5 while we are at it. Yao is a much better outside threat and can even take his man on the face up dribble....
