Have u ever notice why Jason Williams turns it over so much. Half of his turnovers come from teamates not expecting the ball. This is the same situation with Francis. Most of the time his passes are accurate they just do not get caught. I think in training camp, Rudy needs to teach awareness. We have all seen Carlos, Kelvin, or Pig bobble a beautiful pass under the hoop. Teaching awarness will surely cut turnovers, and increase assist. ------------------ Rocketfan
What is a pig bobble? and where are these turnovers? I like the apple ones!! To teach awareness, they should practice with a ball lathered in Crisco. After mastering CRISCO-Ball, they should have no problems with BASKET-ball. And after they are done practicing, they can fry the ball and feed it to Pig and bulken him up for open market trades. Damn I would be a good coach. Viola!! ------------------ Is it any coincidence that the Wizard has a NBA team named after him? Or that that team is owned by evil incarnate Jordan? I don't think so ...
You're playing the viola now Crisco??? Oh sorry.. I forgot this isn't the thread to criticise peoples spelling mistakes...... ------------------
lol Dr. Crisco: 3422 points out that Francis has good turnovers. I don't agree with your crisco ball; that will likely result in flakey turnovers. So, what do you think a Pig and Bull will bring on the open market? Certainly more than a Bison, but less than Kobe beef. [This message has been edited by heypartner (edited April 04, 2000).]
Some of his turnovers are indeed from players not looking, but I would say the majority of them are from Palming the ball or traveling. I think his turnovers will get to a respectable level when the refs stop calling palming. DaDakota ------------------
Crisco is not the way you want to go if you want good turnovers. You need to use only butter. CriscoKidd, I know you have some sort of financial interest in pushing your product, but I think your plan will work almost as well if you use butter. It will make better turnovers, make the ball just as greasy -- the only problem being that you will have to add some oil before frying to keep the butter from browning. ------------------
Crisco already makes a psuedo-butter product......sorry guys! ------------------ HOOP-T Hey Shaq, Acme called, and they want their bricks back!
Dr.NuggieBeer No, but aren't they just too cooll??? ------------- HeyPard It will result in flakey TOs, but that is the point. Get those guys to play CriscoBall, and then they will realisew that they have to concentrate to catch the ball, it dont just magically appear in the hand. hmmmm, I think a Bull and a fat Pig could land a couple of Bucks. Throw in a Cat and maybe, just maybe, you could get a Big Dog or two. At the very least, the Rocks could get some Brown P.J. for the whole lot(YUM!!). ------------ JavaMan You caught me! BTW, What's for dinner? ------------------ Is it any coincidence that the Wizard has a NBA team named after him? Or that that team is owned by evil incarnate Jordan? I don't think so ...
Juan, Sure, it will make better turnovers, but 3422 already clarifies that Francis's turnovers are not bad at all. You're also missing the fact that butter can't be used in frying (as you say, it will burn). How are you going to get Pig to eat the ball if you don't fry it in Crisco?
I don't think Pig needs the ball fried to eat it - I'm sure I've seen him eat butterballs before. ------------------
