Sorry if this has been posted already
Sportingnews TOP 10 list of current NBA trash talkers
    http://www.sportingnews.com/voices/sean_deveney/20021023.html

    1. Gary Payton, Sonics. Payton claims he never initiates trash talk, he only responds when provoked. Uh, sure, Gary. We could find about 1,000 players who disagree.

    2. Michael Jordan, Wizards. Jordan is a legendary talker. No flaw -- your game, your car, your shoes -- is off-limits.

    3. Reggie Miller, Pacers. Just ask Spike Lee.

    4. Antoine Walker, Celtics. Not only did he gab with Cliff Robinson in the playoffs last season, he got into it with the first row of Pistons fans.

    5. Kevin Garnett, Timberwolves. Garnett talks to teammates, opponents, officials, fans, media, popcorn vendors, etc. Mostly, he smacks himself on the head.

    6. Tracy McGrady, Magic. He's only 23, and his gab is growing with his game.

    7. Nick Van Exel, Mavericks. Remember when, in 1995, Van Exel stopped by the Clippers' bench during a timeout to wave goodbye? Utterly unprofessional but pretty funny.

    8. Jalen Rose, Bulls. "If you're out there, talking trash a little, it's a sign you take pride in your performance," Rose says.

    9. Steve Francis, Rockets. When Francis was trash talking as a rookie, he was "a symbol of everything wrong with the NBA," as one writer put it. Now that he's an All-Star, he's just colorful.

    10. Sam Cassell, Bucks. As Sudden Sam once explained, "Sometimes while you're playing basketball, it gets boring. So I talk."

Ya, I was kind of surprised. I know Steve can be a hot dog sometimes (hanging on the rim, touching the glass, etc.), but I didn't think he trash talked a lot.

I would think Mobley is more of a trash talker.

Actually, I don't think Cat really talks all that much, unless he's complaining about a call or just letting off some steam.

The story about Van Exel is funny, though. And the fact that the Clips didn't jump his assets afterwards is all you need to know about that organization, I would've at least thrown a water bottle at him. I got something for you to wave to right here, pal! :D
