Should we be flattening Paris TODAY for issuing 12 visa's to top Iraqi officials in the first week of the war, (allowing them to travel freely among the 12 E.U. countries).

    The answer is OUI!!!!

Of course France has denied they issued the visas, and I have yet to seen any proof of Iraqi officials headed to Paris.

    Reactionaries are fun;)

The reason that we can't accuse the French of issuing those passports is that blank passports could have been stolen from the French Embassy by the Iraqis.

The article had nothing conclusive and said the evidence was inconclusive. What I said was that there was no evidence anyone from Iraq used the passports.

    This is from the article.

Raj Bharwani, a spokesman for Mr. Sensenbrenner, said in an interview that the Judiciary Committee was notified Tuesday by the Homeland Security Department that there was "no indication that France supplied passports to Iraqis" fleeing from coalition forces.
A Homeland Security official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the investigation involved checking with "our intelligence sources" about the matter.
"All of our sources indicated that the allegations were incorrect," the official said.
