I remember seeing an interview with her. She survived Uterine cancer and apparently now is a big time activist on helping others with the disease. She seemed pretty down to earth, much different then her on tv persona.
I heard that she cared a lot about the issues. I have also heard that she is very knowledgeable about the issues.

she still looked good on an old navy commercial a few years back. I saw a glimpse of an old episode of the nanny a couple of nights ago and I remembered why I used to watch. because I was adolescent and she used to bounce around in those tight skirts. I didn't know she was very active in causes like the cancer cause. Last thing I remember is she dropped her husband of a few years after becoming famous. kind of soured me on her.

I agree one gazillion percent. Maybe we can get Gilbert Gottfried to run for the Senate. Looks like we're already going to have Elmer Fudd (Thompson) on the Republican side of the Presidential race, so why not pull out all the stops?

I think she is hot but something would have to be done about her voice. I can just picture some movie where some brainac nerd scientist invents a voice changer and gives it to Fran. It changes her voice to something more pleasant, less nasally, and infinitely more sexy. Then every able heterosexual male goes running after her. Be a great movie, IMO (or maybe not).
