Do you guys have any problems with the TV screen freezing for a few seconds, then turning black for a few more, before the game comes back on?

I'm in Austin, so I am getting the game thru League Pass, and I am trying to figure out if it is a FoxSW problem or a league pass problem.

It's UPN20 and its a piece of ****. Been doing this all season long. I doubt it's a league pass prob.

That MUST be a satellite issue because I never have a problem with the broadcast on cable.

Prempeh, I have the same problem quite often and tonight got so fed up with it, I called DirecTV to report the problem. Apparently no one has called about this(yeah right!) and the networks have supposedly not reported any issues and the lady I spoke to said there was nothing they could do(aside from giving me Showtime free for 2 months). I HIGHLY urge you to call them at 1-800-531-5000(option 2) and report the problem.

I never have this problem with any other League Pass games, only Rockets games. Make sure you point this out to them.

Are all you guys on Dish Network or some other satellite system? Because, as I said, the local broadcast on cable is fine. Seems like most of you guys are on satellites with League Pass. Sounds more like a satellite issue than a network one.

Jeff it has to be a UPN 20 problem because it never happens when Foxsw or one of the other teams networks carries the game. I have watched all of the Rockets games this year on NBA League pass and the only time I have problems is when UPN 20 is doing the game.

Don't feel so bad guys. I live in Houston and receive cable from this mickey mouse outfit called U.S.online out of Austin. These wonderfull Rocket fans like to black-out about 3 games a month and put on the Stars games. Needless to say the dish in on it's way.

I have DirecTV with League Pass and it happens every time UPN 20 carries the game.

However, I never have a problem when the game is broadcast on Fox SW.

I dont mean to offend anyone here, but has the channel UPN always been a channel with programs primarily aimed at African Americans(tried to make that as PC as possible)? I thought a few years ago they used to have some decent programming, but now its just BLAH.

The Rockets used to be on the WB frog chanel. Ask yourself what does WB stand for? it sure as hell not Warner Brother. It stands for WAYENS bother, cause every damn wayen has a show on it.

I a not going to start no race war like they do on the radio. Especially on the afternoon show. If memory serves me corret, I think WB was aimed at the African American demographics. If you aren't PC, what I just said was the black folks. Then all of a sudden caucasian people had tv shows. You know, stuff like Dawsons Creek and 7th heaven and all that good stuff.

UPN then started gettig in touch with its African American side. Shows lke Moesh, and that Moesha spinoff. and other good shows that nobody watches, except the majorty of clutchcity.net users.

I haven't noticed any problems with UPN so far on basic antenna reception. On occasion, there's a blip in service, but not that often -- no more than on any other station . . .

Dude, UPN shows suck hard. With the exception of The Hugleys. And they didn't even make that one themselves...

First of all, not all UPN 20 League Pass games have had this problem, but some games have. In the end, this is a big problem.

Also, as Jeff said, if you watch the Rockets on UPN 20 in Houston there are never any freeze ups.

Like ZRB, I have digital cable, so DTV subscribers aren't the only ones affected with this.

I think it is a satellite problem, and the NBA should be contacted.

I don't know if this has any direct or indirect relationship but my buddy who works for MSG Sports told me today that excluding FOX WEST, the rest of the FOX SPORTS Regional is going out of business. I didn't get the entire details about what will happen but it looks like the regional FOX sports networks lost a ton of money and are going under.

I watch all of the Rockets games on digital cable. I had always thought that it was freezing cause on NBA League Pass. It is pretty annoying how it always freezing. Luckily when Cuttino hit that shot to send it into OT it didn't freeze then.
