What Do You Think Tea Party Movement Is About?
    By You Decide
    - FOXNews.com

How to define the Tea Party movement was nearly as big an issue last week at the National Tea Party Convention as the political issues discussed, from government fiscal responsibility to greater accountability of public officials. Some participants drew cheers for raising more controversial topics, such as President Obama's nationality, but others argued that those points were, at best, politically unproductive. Meghan McCain went further on Monday and called segments of the movement "racist."

    Thank you for voting!
Small government and fiscal responsibility 7% (31,851 votes)
Exposing Democrats' socialist agenda 1% (2,590 votes)
Voicing outrage at out-of-touch politicians 3% (11,942 votes)
Fruitless mix of racism, conspiracy theories 89% (389,247 votes)
Other (add your comment) <1% (1,746 votes)
    Total Votes: 437,376

"This is not a scientific poll."

IMO, most people in American over 40 are not hanging out on the internet and voting on these polls--just saying.

funny results. I'm not sure why you started the thread twice though.

If you were basso you could have titled the thread Republicans admit they care more about their party than the safety and well being of country.

Or an alternate basso title would be: Republicans admit part of their agenda is to keep minorities down.

And you think there is that much of a disparity between the opinions of those who hang out on the internet and those who don't?

Don't be delusional man, the Tea Party is a joke and a half.

It seems so obvious, yet they get so much media coverage. I don't understand it.

Looks like the real silent majority is not speaking softly and is carrying a big voting stick.

wrong. It comes from FOX news which is the only fair and balanced source out there. If they have the poll it must be scientific.

My guess is some liberal blogs caught wind of this, and they sent their traffic over to pollute the results. I can't make sense out of this, otherwise. I thought the Tea Party was generally popular amongst Fox News audience.

Yeah, it's polling only those who use the Internet. And why do you seem to think only those over 40 should be polled?

Actually, I wouldn't be too surprised if they used the results to show how the lamestream media is indoctrinating the public with false propaganda.
