I just recently moved to Austin. It seems the feed on Fox Sports Southwest is coming from Dallas, i.e. Dallas Stars game from who knows when instead of Rockets broadcast this evening. I know the Spurs are the main draw in these parts (on the WB or UPN affiliate), but is there any way to get the Houston feed on Fox Sports Southwest other than by spending the money to get NBA league pass? Thanks for any info.
either league pass or go to a bar. if i'm north i go to the bar at showplace lanes. if i'm south i go to the warehouse.
Agree. I've got LP but occassionally it's nice just to go out to see the game. The staff at Showplace has always been excellent and even if there's a crowd wanting to see some other event, they'll set one TV exclusively for the Rox. By contrast, I'll never set foot in a Plucker's again. They'll dump the Rox off of the big screen at the slightest hint of Spurs fans in the place. ..and Austin's got plenty of Spurs fans.
If you go into the warehouse... you will see one of two things. Either lots of spurs fans or a bunch of people waiting to sing karoke... and then way over there... in the corner.... It's Brock... and one of three other Rocket's fans that come in from time to time watching the game. Come on down! You can buy me a beer! Just ask for the Rocket Man...
