Good for them. At least they don't have to play for Knight.

If I was a Tech student, I would be in love with Bob Knight.

Did you see the way he treated the media at his first press conference? The CNNSI guy who uncovered the videotape was booed...unfair. The DMN columnist who wrote Mack Brown is #@#$ (just paraphrasing) got booed twice...very deserved. Knight only answered the questions he wanted to and bullied the rest of the media. He kissed @$$ to the students.

Knight is one strange man. Such talent and inventiveness, but such a strange man. Still, I can't help but wish him well. I was basically raised on his offense...hell, pretty much all cornfield towns in Indiana and Illinois were breast fed Bobby Knight in the '70s.

Unbelievable basketball mind...with the ability to teach kids. Yet, he flakes on them, too.

Let's remember when we talk about Knight and his students that John Wooden was notorious for demoralizing kids to get their scholarships if he determined he couldn't use them after recruiting them. The idea being that if he could get them to transfer, he'd get a scholarship back for another recruit. He'd doghouse them, not for not trying, but not jumping high enough and stuff.

Now, Knight obviously is a yeller in practice,,,but the man reinvented the game and ... and ... how to teach it ... to crush UCLA and yank the torch out of John Wooden's hands with the last undefeated season and one built on inferior talent.

Crush the overly-hyped "triangles" and "pyramids of success" bull****...So it is written; So it shall be Done!!! Knight him!
