Shane will either be the lynchpin for an SnT (along with Sura) for Shard. It would be up to Lewis because Presti would be on board IMHO. Would the Rox?

    Or

    Shane is ticketed for Frye/Fernandez/Webster.

    Or

Shane will head elsewhere for who knows who.

    Or

Shane retains his glue hold on the roster.

    Whither Shane?

I like Rashard. I could live with the Portland trio. I would be happy to retain Shane.

Thanks for starting a thread that basically says anything could happen to Shane and you don't care what does.

Sorry but Shane isn't going anywhere. If you look at his salary to contribution ratio then he is one of the most bang for the buck type of players in the league. Evey GM loves this kind of player with high energy, high effort no nonsense type of approach to the game. 5 mil for a guy that does so many little things makes hard nose plays every game. NOPE Shane is keeper and will find a PF through other means.

I would hope shard would want to come home hopefully clyde and shards family can convince him to come home. If he does decide to come home we might as well put the banner up already. Houston Rockets 07-08 NBA champs

If you guys haven't figured out this "Money-ball" thing yet, then let me explain...

It's based on stats, most notably, Rebounds, Steals and Turnovers.

Notice anything missing? Oh yeah, it's POINTS!!!!!

What does that have to do with this thread? Mr. dumbass moneyball (who brought Telfair to Boston btw) won't look at Shane's intangibles and "glue" quality for the team.

Had we drafted anyone rated as an actual NBA prospect last night, I would agree with the Portland deal.

As is, we have absolutely no choice but to keep Shane, because our Point Guards are going to get beat so bad, and so often that Shane will end up spending half his time saving Yao from fouling out of games!!!!

Sorry but Sebastian Telfair was all Danny Ainge and his genius to trade a pick where he could have gotten Brandon Roy. Daryl Morey had nothing to do with that he was already our assistant GM last year.

If you want to pick on Morey then go after his moves like Al Jefferson, Delonte West and even Gerald Green was a moneyball decision.

Please do not blame Danny Ainge's incompetence on Morey he does not deserve the extra crucification on this board more than what he has already gotten.

Not anything. Two real things are going down and the Rox will be involved in one only if Shane is included. If he is not included then it must mean his value is way high, pr way higher here than elsewhere or he's being saved for the proverbial (but as yet unknown) SPLASH.

well the fact that you thought that Morey worked with the Celtics in last seasons draft makes your argument weak
