I found a dog yesterday wandering in the Meyerland area. I brought him home and put up signs in the neighborhood. So far, no one has called. I have also tried local vets. We already have two male dogs and as he is a not neutered male, they are having dominance issues. He seems very sweet and is very friendly. I hate to take him to the SPCA or Humane Society, because you just never know what is going to happen to them. But, my husband has given me one more day to either find his home or find him a new one. Is anyone here interested in him?

Good to hear, but make sure the owner puts a tag on him once he gets him back.

Yes, I lectured him about keeping a tag on a dog that likes to wander (in a nice way of course). Plus, I told him how easy they are to make at Petsmart.

No, I did make it sound that way, didn't I? I attributed it to good karma. As soon as I posted this, I got a call from a deputy constable in the area saying he had a report of a lost dog in the area. He contacted the owner, who then contacted me. I related this, because I thought it very cool of the constable to take the time to hook us up.
