I'm sure it's old news to alot of people, but recently I discovered a the Oriental Gourmet on El Camino. Most sushi at Chinese buffets is crap. But the sushi at this place was damn good. They have Thai and Vietnamese food too. It's cheap too. I spent 10 bucks including tip. Check it out if you haven't.

    haha.

I just posted in the other thread that I eat there almost every weekend. I live walking distance to the place and can smell it from my front yard.

Did you know that place it was the Clear Lake moive theater from the early '70s through the mid '80s? I saw so many movies there as a kid growing up it's not even funny.

The baked pepper shrimp is the best.

BTW, the best mexican food in Clear Lake is Los Rameriz two doors down.

Have you tried the Casa Ole' on El Camino? It is *excellent* -- to say the least.

We ate there about a month ago and thought it was pretty bad. Sure as hell doesn't measure up to Esteban's.

It's been years since I've been, but my dad works nearby so he eats there a lot.

There's another Oriental Gourmet on I-45 @ Monroe, isn't there?

Oriental Gourmet is not bad for a Chinese buffet.

Yeah there is another one on 45.

Cusine of India is the best Indian in Clear Lake (Nasa Parkway)
Lupe Tortilla is the best Mexican in Clear Lake (Bay Area Blvd)
I don't think there is really any "good" Chinese in Clear Lake.
Cafe Petra is the best Mediterranean in Clear Lake (Bay Area Blvd)
Zio is the best Italian in Clear Lake (Bay Area Blvd)
Perrys Steakhouse is the best Steakhouse in Clear Lake (Bay Area Blvd)

Lupe Tortilla is amazing, their fajitas are by far the best I've ever had. A pretty good Chinese place is King Food on Nasa Rd 1 & Texas Ave.

Isn't there a new Clear Lake location of Babin's Seafood, the famous crab shack in Beaumont? I heard about it, and have been wanting to make the trip down to check it out.
