Or it's a feedback from NBA to Nate Mcmillan's complain?

They got a couple of homecourt calls, granted, but the main reason in foul disparity is the simple fact that we did not come out prepared mentally and showed no killer instinct in a game that was oh so huge.

We had them on the ropes...and failed miserably

Hey cop you said this in another thread also. Shall we just have a game thread for this forum, nothing else?

I think when both coach got fined, and this kind of unbalanzed call happened right after that, it's a serious issue the Rockets have to look into.

It really wasn't bad officiating. A few missed calls on both sides. Rockets had their chances to win. I think Blake outplaying Brooks and Lowry going loco had more to do with the Rockets losing. Artest played okay...he only took 2 bad shots early in the clock. Rockets just had too many turnovers and Blazers turned up the Defense and the Rockets just need to make some set adjustments for the next game. Rockets did a good job of finding Yao after the front a few times, but then Blazers adjusted to that and many times the find wasn't there and there wasn't much time left on the clock....It's a bunch of minor things that effect overall execution.

The Rockets talked about that before the game and I think they had some expectation for it. My point is the referee was worse than they were ready for.

Scola was forced to sit for a long time because of his early 4 fouls, while he was our top scorer. That doesn't look right to me.

dude you really must want to be an admin because ive been on CF all night and you've done absolutely nothing but blast other peoples' posts! you should really think about posting something relevant to the game instead, it might actually be fun.

Officiating wasn't too bad, just a few bad calls & cheap fouls called at the wrong time. Scola was taken out early on a cheap call and then the Blazers were quickly put in the bonus early in the 4th quarter. I thought the foul on Battier was bogus, Roy drove the lane, but Shane moved back and didn't make contact. Taking Scola out and being in the bonus so early was huge in this game. Adelman probably waited too long getting Scola back in the game & taking Yao out late in the 3rd killed our momentum.

Funny, because I felt that this game was well officiated. If there's any game in this series that Rockets fans might question the officiating for, it was Game 2. Tonight it was mostly a matter of the Rockets committing dumb fouls down the stretch.

The game was officiated fine. We didn't drive to the basket as much as we did in past games. (Lowry barely drove like he usually does) There were a few missed calls on both ends, but no big deal. Don't whine about the officiating like the Blazers fans were...we have no one to blame, but oursevles. We should have had a killer instinct today and we didn't. Enough said.

Let's say Rockets and Blazers get in even by refs in game 3 and game 4.

Landry got some cheap touch calls on him, but then so did the Blazers. Battier did foul Roy late in the game, but that really wasn't his fault. Battier was trying to fight through the Pryz screen and got caught up. Roy didn't separate at all and got his free arm tangled with Battier's arm trying to fight through Pryz.

Lowry really hurt the team down the stretch. Brooks was getting dominated by Steve Blake tonight, but Lowry was so bad that Adelman was forced to put Brooks back in. Lowry was forcing tempo when nothing was there and then put the Blazers on the FT line 2 possessions in a row on totally unnecessary fouls.

Now I'm not defending Brooks...he played like crap. Just saying Lowry was just as bad.

Not taking a cheap shot at this moment, but I really didn't understand the Alston trade. Brooks is not as efficient at all as a starter comparing with getting off from bench. And a bench player Lowry << bench player Brooks.

Well, if we lose again, it'll be interesting to see what Morey and Les have to say or do.
