Fort Minor

The album is "ehh" ok. The only 2 songs I like are now singles, "remember the name" and "where'd you go?". I want to like them alot since I am a big Linkin Park fan, but its just "ok" to me.

 

mike brings good beats but the real power behind fort minor is styles of beyond. they are really dope and starting to hit it big. i was at an lp/korn tour in so cal when i met styles as they were inking the deal to do the first fort minor album. i like the first album a lot primarily due to the heavy SOB on the tracks, but i think the next fort minor album will feature celph titled and demigodz a lot more. i like celph and demigodz but i think SOB is a lot better.

sob is dropping a new album this fall you guys should check some of their stuff out.

 

I was wondering why it sounded just like Linkin Park. How many projects is Mike doing? Seems like he is involved with a crapload of stuff in all kinds of genres.

Anyone that has Live 06 and keeps the menu music on should be absolutely sick of hearing "Remember the Name" by now.

 

If it sounds anything like Linkin Park it isn't a real nice rap group.

 

I like the album (but I also like LP). That being said, I think the only reason some people say it "sounds like" Linkin Park is because it's Shinoda on a lot of the tracks.
