This post is regardig Dream. If you don't like him because of his departure don't reply. On NBA.com there is a poll on what center should be on the "Ultimate All-Star Team" and should get his own feature at halftime of the All-Star game. The list has Shaq, Mutumbo, Divac, Robinson, Mourning, J. O'Neal, Camby and Dream. Dream is tied for last!!!! WTF is that all about? He's better than everyone on there, maybe excluding Shaq. If you want to vote here's the link. http://www.nba.com/tv_programs/Ultimate_AllStar_Center_Voting.html
If you look at the stats for this season, Dream in last place makes some sense. I don't think they meant an "All-Star Team of all time" list, but a list just for this season. So, if that's what they meant, I understand Dream's rank in the poll.
I read the link... you should, too. The link reads: In other words, instead of a starting 5 for each conference, pick a starting 5 for the entire league. His ranking in the poll seems about right to me.
Good points. I just hope that Wilkens is trying to keep him fresh for the playoffs. Once the payoffs come around, I hope to see the "Clutch" Dream reborn.
I'm happy we let Dream go. Eddie is our future at center and if Dream was still a Rocket it might limit Griffin's playing time. Dream is out Griffin's in.
