For Those Worried About Hakeem Not Playing in the 4th...

    His bronchitis got to him. After the 3rd, he wrapped up in a towel and was seen on camera visibly coughing pretty hard several times.

    Great game prior to that but the big fella did as much as he could.

    I don't know the details (didn't watch the game) but the bronchitis doesn't have anything to do with his chronic breathing problem, right?

    Doc: Exactly. He contracted bronchitis (and inflamation of the lungs) late last week according to reports. It aggravates his asthmatic condition but the two are not related.

    Bronchitis is, ordinarily, caused by either a flu virus or a bacterial infection. The asthma is a chronic condition. Some would say, and I tend to agree, that the asthma would leave him vulnerable to illnesses like bronchitis because the asthma weakens the immune system and the respiratory system, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem for Dream.

    This is, after all, the cold and flu season. [​IMG]

    Forget Hakeem in the 4th, why in the HELL did Rudy not play either Mo or Kenny, the whole game. I mean my Nitwit almost beat us all by himself. What was Rudy thinking.

    so pist??

    this is the FIRST rockets game ive gotten to see all year (i live in dallas) and i only caught the 4th quarter.
    that was an interesting line up to say the least, mobes, anderson, francis, moochie... and bullard!
    but hey, bullard nailed 2 huge 3's in a row, and the guards were spectacular. norris had a big basket, anderson was huge. and francis was outright impressive.
    again, interesting lineup, but hey it worked.

    almost the whole team is suffering from flu and bronchitis, why sigal out dream? The brother played 14 minutes had ten points and rebounds etc while sick and should be commended for this not laughed at, or stupid questions asked about why he didnt finish. Some didnt start due to bronchitis whats the matter with you, jeff trying prove a piont, "heh dream be coughing, towel on his head fourth quater". That aint something we should be prould about, he is part of the reason many of us are in this bbs dont you understand that?

    Hakeem does not have the flu, he has bronchitis, which aggravates his asthmatic condition. The others who didn't play (Mo and KT) were out with the flu.
