that's when he wasn't a Rocket... Oh wait a minute, most of the people who like him aren't Rocket fans. my bad!
That is THE reason I never leave the arena before the game is actually over, even when Rockets is down by 10.
For those that hate the economy LINK I don't know about you guys, but I feel a lot better after reading that.
The funny thing about the Tracy hate is that I guarantee if any of those people saw Tracy in person, they'd run up to him and ask for a autograph/picture. Everybody is a tough guy online. Different story when they aren't hiding behind a screen.
Right. Anyone can be tough over a computer its pretty sad if you ask me. The way they hate Tracy you would think he killed someone in their family or something. But when he comes back and play at a high level they will come back to his side.
the funny thing is no matter how horrible Tmac plays, his fans would make an excuse for him or pull this highlight out. Yeah like that was the best thing that ever happened to the Houston Rockets. If I had a chance of having us lose that game and Tmac's 3 pointers so we can get to the 2nd Round. I'd trade it. but the Tmac fans wouldn't trade his individual success or highlights for team success. that's the truth.
I didn't root for Tracy McGrady the year he won the scoring championship. I was rooting the Rockets. He was with Orlando. sorry, if I hurt any feelings people have for Tracy McGrady in Orlando. I know some people here think that T-Mac in Orlando > Shaq in Orlando. Proving that they aren't even Orlando Magic fans.
Dude you would have to do a lot more to hurt my feelings because I don't care what people opinions are about Tracy and I'm pretty sure he doesn't care either. Just because people are fans of Tracy that mean they can't be real Rockets fans? I don't buy into that at all. Tracy is my favorite player and that doesn't make me any less of a fan than you. The reason people talk about Tracy when he was with the Magic is because thats when he was at his peak and was a great player to watch even if he didn't win anything. And can you please tell me who said Tracy>Shaq? Its like you make up things to try and prove your point.
Yes, i'm r****ded. T-Mac is the only Rocket. Who is dream? Who is Ming? I only want 30 points from tmac. What is championship? 2 + 4 - 3 x 4 / 89 = Tracy with a remainder of McGrady. 3 pointer? Ok. 2nd round? No good. Clutch city, no. T-Mac city, yes. Players on 93-94 team: Vernon Macwell, Kenncy Smith, Carl Macerra, Hakady McLajuwon. Coach = Rudy T-Macovich. 2 straight titles is what I call a Mac-2-Mac. Am I missing anything? Besides my tmac (brain) of course.
you get 1.5 out of 2 points from me. lol I dislike Bush and I like Tmac. I agree he's far from being the player he was 4 years ago physically, but his understanding of the game is better. His teammates are better too, so let's see what happens. Last year's Tmac was pretty good so I think the decline this year is mostly due to the injuries, it's not a precipitous decline in his skill.
No problemo. This thread below was meant to be a joke. My favorite moment is when Tmac fan has to set crazed Tmac fan straight on who was the better player in Orlando. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=161179
He can be amazing. He has been amazing. We all know that. We need Tracy McGrady the personal coach to be a better manager of Tracy McGrady the player. Better offseason discipline, better in-season judgment, more emphasis on inspiring and developing his teammates than on trying to bail them out with hot shooting. I don't believe his body is shot. He has no shortage of talent or brains. He just needs to get it together. And, yes, that's on him.
Now that's a fair assessment. All the other stuff spewed is just emotional immaturity. I just have one thing to say. There's a very fine line between winning and losing. One shot, one bad bounce, one blown referee call can change the course of basketball history, the same way that one bad life decision can change the course of your life. Tmac in my opinion is labeled as a losing player unfairly.
