http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/notes.pdf Scroll down to the pronunciations section and read it. BUD-ing-ger. GRRRRRR. Not Jer!
Maybe because it hasn't been posted yet? I think it's valid for everyone to know how to pronounce this outstanding rookies name. Plus I'm sure chase would appreciate it if you ever run into him.
I wasn't wondering because I watched the first game of the season where Matt Bullard interviewed Chase and confirmed that it's GRR not JER.
What the hell people? Stop giving OP so much flak, he posted a potentially helpful thread for us and you're giving him **** for it. I'm sure a few International Rockets fans may not have known about the correct pronunciation, and are grateful for this. Save your 'what a waste of thread,' 'was this thread necessary,' comments for the SJax trade proposal, ugh.
It doesnt remind me of it at all, I can SEE how to spell his name correctly on the back of his damn jersey. GOOD THREAD OP, WOULD READ AGAIN. HAHA Cant edit..
FWD: FOR THOSE OF YOU WONDERING HOW TO SAY BUDINGER TO: Clyde Drexler And... send..... hope he gets it..
Don't sweat the negative comments. I wasn't sure how to pronounce it and had been wondering. Appreciate it.
don't be so ignorant. this is perfectly a legit post. true rocket fans will want to pronounce their favorite player names correctly.. that is all
ignorant? i thought knowing how to say players' names was a pre-requisite of being a c-fan before you post anything.
Clyde butchers plenty of names, but you would think he could at least get the Rocket names right. Maybe he did for the Lakers game, because I unfortunately recorded the Lakers announcers feed, but I know as recently as last week he was pronouncing it jer. Don't go to any other boards looking for assholes, because there are plenty on this one now.
I have nothing wrong with the thread but people will still say it wrong, just as people will continue to misspell David Anderson's errr...Andersen's name.
