It looks like Webber is considering, though he has not commited to, a $100 million extension with the Kings. He should make a decision soon according to this article:
    http://www.msnbc.com/news/454275.asp

All I have to say is wow, will the free agency market suck next year, if he does sign an extension. Now, excuse me, while I go grumble about the bad timing of our finally aquiring some cap space. [IMG]

There sure are a whole lot of overpaid people in this world.

I'm content with what we have after the signing of Mo, but the terribly weak FA class next year unfortunately ensures that we'll have to pay the max to Mo, since there will be a ton of other suitors for him.

There is not ONE passable Center or Power Forward in that listing... oh my!! We better hope that Mo doesn't want to play in Motor City!

Oh great. [IMG] 93 overpaid scrubs to pick from, more or less. Looks like we'll be relying on the draft next summer.
    No Webber? Sh*t... [IMG]
Oh well, we couldn't have landed him anyway.

Joe Smith wouldn't be a bad pick up if we could get him cheap.

I agree, but he's going to want to get paid since he already took a small contract with Minnesota.

What about Corliss Wiilliamson or Olden Polynice?

joel przybilla looks a lot better than cba collier and a conditional first, doesn't he?

the rockets have "accidentally" maneuvered themselves to not have to pay for rookie talent this year, not pay the exception, and then give away their firsts next year because they won't have any roster space for them.

    nice job, rudy t.

    Youre an aidiot

The Rockets have purposefully maneuvered themselves to resign their top FA, during a year where there were many suitors offering him much more, to sign a young, energetic, good PF FA for the exception and have begun stockpiling a number of picks in a very strong and deep draft next year. Further, they should have cap space, and while theFA class next year looks like it sucks, you never know what will happen. Like you thought Austin Croshere or rashard Lewis would have been getting big paydays this summer.
