    The Rockets aren't alone...if you take a look at the schedules for other teams at around the same time, it doesn't look like Houston will lose much ground. Every team seems to have a multiple-game hell ride programmed for them this month.

    Spurs
    DEN
    @NOK
    @DET
    @PHI (back to back)
    BOS

    Lakers
    TOR
    @NOK
    @HOU
    @DAL
    @UTA

    (Ouch! So much for the Lakers' easy schedule :D)

    Mavericks
    LAL
    BOS
    SAS
    LAC (a bit of rest here...)
    @DEN
    @GSW

    Suns
    HOU
    @DET
    @BOS

    Denver
    DAL
    GSW
    @PHO
    PHO

    Golden State
    HOU
    @LAL
    LAL
    POR
    @DEN
    DAL
    @SAS
    @DAL

    New Orleans

    SAS
    LAL
    @DET
    CHI (ok, a bit of rest here...)
    HOU
    BOS

    Utah
    @CHI
    @MIL
    @BOS
    @NJN
    TOR
    LAL

    Considering how bad of a road team the Jazz are, this is a pretty difficult stretch.

    Either way, Rockets aren't alone. Seems like the schedule-maker saw fit to make everyone work in the Western Conference.

    Nice post!

    Whoever made the schedule this year knew how to drum up excitement and anticipation leading to the playoffs.

    (Western conference only, obviously)

    Looks to me that the Mavs and the Hornets have the toughest, so that should put us in the top 4 seeds and will give us home court.

    Out of the teams we're competing with for playoff seeding, but I think the toughest schedule by far is the Warriors.

    Good post. Yeah every team is going to have a tough schedule at some point. You just gotta fight through yours.

    i wish the nuggets would make the playoffs as the 8 seed and we get the 1 seed. that is easily our easiest opponent.

    Not to be pessimistic, but let's not go assuming anything about losing or gaining ground. Even the smallest skid on our part puts us right back in the playoff fight for spots 6-8.

    Stay humble.

    NOH will fall first, then Lakers

    Suns and Mavs will improve with chemistry.

    Rockets grab the 2nd seed

    I think some people were concerned about the week from hell because it would jeopardize the streak(provided the Rockets get through this week first).

    But yes, I've been keeping an eye on the teams we're fighting with for playoff seedings and most of them have it just as bad if not worse than us.

    Excellent analysis, somebody probably everyone is going to lose 2 games during this stretch. I love the streak though.

    Yeah, I was noticing that all of these teams seem to play each other. They'll all probably break about even... However, if one team goes off and wins 4 or 5 of them, then they're going to gain a ton of ground. I can't see that happening, though.

    i completely agree, those guys can't play a lick of defense. They make Camby and AI look like better than what they are on D at times because the rest of the guys are so horrible at it.
