There is only ONE reason why the Fakers will lose a game ... and that is to win on their own court. But right now, I think sweeping is more important to them.

So place your bets here. Winner gets a cookie.

I'll do you one better. Iverson will never show up in this series like he did the last one. He's got Bryant/Fisher to get past on the outside and Shaq/Grant/Horry to get past on the inside. He's not going to get bailed out by the officials against the NBA's darlings.

I remember Kobe held Iverson scoreless in one quarter in a game.I think that happened last year but I'm not sure.

Well I don't know what game your talking about, but I do know that on 2-14-01 Iverson was the one that had 40 points in that game while Kobe only had 18 points. Philly won that game so that tells me Iverson got the better deal out of that one.

If it wasn't a game after April 1st, I'm afraid it doesn't apply to this situation.

Lets look at it realistically :

    1) Can Lurch contain O'Neal? No, before the playoffs, I would have said yes. But he's been too dominant.

    2) Can Lurch score on O'Neal? No, that ungainly hook shot is gonn end up breaking a fw teeth - his, when O'Neal slaps it back in his face.

The Lakers are playing too good, too smoothly for anyone to beat them.

No way Iverson scores over 40 points 5 games in a row (counting the last two). I just don't think he can do that. And the Lakers would have to lose two games to win it on their home floor.

Mutombo has played Shaq tough his entire career, and he matches up well with Shaq, something people forget. And the 76ers have something that the Spurs, Kings, and Blazers don't have, and that is heart. If they get down they're not going to quit. I don't care how well the Lakers are playing, a good team with heart will give them trouble. The Lakers in 6. The 76ers can take them.

Dimembe matches up on Shaq better than any other Center, but it won't be good enough.

Kobe & Shaq are playing great as teammates right now. THey won't be denied. Lakers in 4.

The Lakers haven't played in 10 days. Will they still have that chemistry? Not for game one. I think that it will take at least 2 games before they show that chemistry again, so games 1 and 2 could go either way. And who knows, if the Lakers lose a game at home, the role players might start missing shots. After all, Shaq and Kobe are not behind this streak. Dereck, Rick, Robert and Horace are behind it.

    Tweak,

They had the same amount of time for the Spurs, give or take a day.

And this is Philly, not Duncan and the Spurs.

That means nothing to me, because I think that Philly is FAR superior to San Antonio.
