The people who should drive it (like me) wouldn't. The people who would drive it (like Jeff) don't need to.
From the info page: "In addition to these cute and cuddly communications, a sophisticated and portable computer systems called the Mini-Pod allows the Pod to "learn" its driver's tastes - memorizing music, favourite TV shows and shopping habits which it can then offer up as situations dictate. On the road, the Pod will also detect the driver's emotional state by monitoring things like their pulse, perspiration, degree of acceleration and the distance from the car in front. Comparing these stats with existing information from expert drivers, the Pod will then change the atmosphere in the vehicle by playing soothing music or turning on some cool air - all the while offering suggestions and perhaps even warnings as it attempts to help the driver improve their skills or simply "cool off" when things get a little hectic." Memorize my tastes in music? Monitor my pulse and perspiration??? That's just a little closer to my car than I want to get. Have we learned nothing from The Matrix???
