Today on ESPN Pacific we were supposed to get Milwaulke v Philly followed by Golf. See below:

    Rating: G
    11.00 am: Basketball
NBA Friday. Milwaukee Bucks V. Philadelphia 76ers. LIVE
    Rating: G
    1.30 pm: Golf
    PGA Tour Golf.

Well...the gold is on NOW and the NBA Game was NOT shown.

I can only presume this means a late programming change...and that ESPN game two from America will be shown instead.

Unless you've been in a cave all week, that means we are getting the Rockets v Lakers game:)

So...flip on 15 if you have cable and didn't know the game would be on...should start in 30 minutes.

    :D

Yes, Golf is on now on ESPN 1. LA vs Rox is
on at 9:30 on ESPN 1.

But, the Milwaukee Bucks V. Philadelphia 76ers
game is on EPSN 2 now.

Not sure if you guys have EPSN 2.

    We don't.

    We only get one game.

    Always the first one.

    They have changed it...without notice...just for this one:D :D :D

    Thanks SRJ! Great news.

My friend tapes all the NBA Games shown, so I'll grab a copy off him (if indeed it is THE GAME) :D

There was something of a campaign by a local sports talkshow host here in Auckland, NZ to have the Rockets-Lakers game televised instead of the Phoenix-Dallas game. That guy must have some clout because we got the game! Rock!

Yep...It was on. I taped it and have already watched it again. Game of the year so far:)

Ut;s pretty frustrating getting the first game only of all the ESPN "Friday Night" show. The first game, because of the US time zones, is always the freaking Eastern Conference game.

What makes it worse is, all through the first game they promote the second game. Shots of guys arriving at the game, pre match talk etc...and then bamm, we get cut off and get rodeo riding or dwarfs riding moto cross while trying to lassoo a wild goat or some other crap that ESPN calls "sport" (How do some of those shows make a SPPORTS channel?!)

I was almost not going to watch the scheduled Philly v Bucks game as I thought it would be too painful to get all the hype for the Rocks v LA and then get cut off as it starts.

Whoever made the decision to change the games...thank you! :D

We get the NBA normally about 11 am saturday morning. So, your friday night game is our saturday game. We are ahead of you in time.

WE also get tuesday nights espn broadcast as our wednesday game.

It's all the same as you. Kevin Fraiser and Greg Anthony etc. Sean Elliot etc.

The only difference is, as we only get one game saturdays...we cut off as the second game begings. VERY frustrating!
