Do you think a McCain with Giuliani ticket would totally destroy Hillary's bid? I'm hoping so. Definetely voting the party line in 2008.

Hillary can't win...she's burned WAY too many bridges, and is hated by sooo many people. Her attitude is terrible. Even SNL made fun of her attitude and lack of respect.
If the Dems are smart...they'd nominate Joe Lieberman. He would have a great chance of suceeding. It would be a tough decision for many moderates like me. McGain or Lieberman...that would be a real hard decision.

Lieberman, pffttt...he's just a wolf in sheep's cothing. McCain could quite possibly be the most honest politician in America. Hillary's acting like shes been watching Commander-in-Chief or something, I've never seen anyone so hawkish in such a fast amount of time

If the Dems were stupid they would nominate Lieberman, since he is Repub-lite. Any Republican candidate worth his or her salt would trounce Lieberman. On top of that, Lieberman is Jewish, and I don't believe this country is ready for a Jewish president, IMHO.

I could definitely see myself voting for McCain in 2008.

Thats a good point. If the Dems want to do anything, they'll need to put up a candidate with a backbone, instead of someone trying to masquerade as a conservative. note to Hillary: we can see right through you (btw, I htink shes a great senator, just not president material)

    I don't know.

I'm pulling for the dems this next term so that the world will be full of less complaining and crying. It stresses me out to no end to hear the liberals crying about everything so it will be easier on me to let them win just to have some peace. Kinda like giving a baby a milk bottle just to shut him up.

I'd be surprised to see Rudy run...i think he's a dope and I can't stand his lisp or his fat son.

McCain seems like the trendy choice I guess...sort of like Louisville in last yrs bracket pool.

I actually think Hillary would make a good VP...ot sure she could handle the Presidency.

i'm not a republican (but i play one on cc.net), but my peferred ticket in 2008 is Rudy/Condi, and I think they'd trounce whoever the dems threw up. given her stance on the war, i wonder whether Hillary can survive a primary contest. It'd be nice to see the dems think outside the beltway box, mark warner, phil bredesen, etc.

I'm not a big fan of Condi. Something about her just creeps me out. And no it isn't because of her color (my first few crushes happened to be black). I think it's because she works with the idiot puppet in the white house who's making a disgrace out of the principles of the Republican party. Highest spending administration ever, and Congress is controlled by Republicans!! Impeach Bush, get McCain in there now!

super secret rumors I've been hearing is that Cheney will resign after the SOTU for "health reasons" and Bush will install either McCain or Rudy. It'll be interesting to see. I've also heard he might do something crazy like put Lieberman in as VP.

    Crazy

The big problem with Rudy as Pres is that he's pro-choice. I don't think he can make it out of the primaries. And with McCain's constant love/hate relationship with his party, he may struggle in the primaries too. I think both of them would do better in the general election than in the primaries.

I think Hillary has the opposite situation, which is unfortunate for Democrats.

Bush should take care of the courts to handle the abortion issue. There will be a serious backlash among voters (particularly male voters) against Billary.
