I currently have a mexican strat with a humbucker and a marshall 30 watt amp. I was wondering if there were any other setups under $1000 that would be better for blues/classic rock type of play. I was thinking of getting a telecaster but im not sure. Thanks
I don't like strats with humbuckers. If you go humbuckers get a fixed bridge guitar. I think a 1000 bucks could get you a cheaper Gibson Vintage Mahogany and tube amp. Although my preference would be an american strat with three single coils.
