For those of you who would rather have a hard drive full of (legal) MP3's and play them as if it were a jukebox, through your speakers, check out the Rio Receiver from Diamond, makers of the RIO MP3 player. The following is an excerpt from their site (www.riohome.com) : The Rio Digital Audio Receiver streams high-quality music from your PC to any room in your house. Simply plug the Rio Receiver into an available phone jack to access the music collection on your PC. The digital audio is sent over your existing phone lines without interfering with your calls. Put a Rio Receiver in every room in your house to get the most out of your digital music collection. OH YEAH!! There's another product similar to this I read about a few weeks ago, but can't remember the URL for its website. Also for you people that burn your own CD's (legally is always recommended, of course), Plextor just released a 32/12/10 cd rewriter which uses the "Burn Proof" technology that supposedly makes it impossible to create coasters due to buffer underruns. It's the fastest writer/rewriter out on the market. I just got mine and installed it. Geek heaven, baby. As usual, Plextor puts out some nice equipment. Anyway... as I said... just an FYI. ------------------ Just shut up and post
