It really helps in Basketball and sports stuff. ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Wow! Cool to see so many Muslims here. That's great! I don't know as much as would care to about the Islamic faith. I am particularly fascinated by Sufis, but any suggestions on web links, books, etc. on Islam would be appreciated. ------------------ Time for a new cause.
I guess I can't attempt to convert this year since I've already eaten. Next year I suppose. ------------------ Five to one baby, one and five...no one here gets, out alive.
Hey Jeff check out http://www.seekasia.com/religion/islam1.htm It has thousands of links categorized, and is probably the best source to look for Islamic info. If that isn't enough, you can always check out www.islam.com or www.islamiccity.com Those are my picks for the best sites on the net for info on the Islamic faith. ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Assalamu alakum (Peace be onto you) and Ramadan Mubarak! Guess what. Over the past weekend when the Rockets were in Miami. One of my friends informed me that Hakeem went to the masjid for Friday Juma prayers. Man I was so upset that I could not be there and see Dream. Not that I would bother him during prayers but it would have been cool to have seen him up close. Oh well, maybe next time. Just curious. How many of you guys are praying Theravee (sp?) prayers. ------------------ Titan's fanatic!!!! It was the first time the Titans sent an offense to the line of scrimmage with Eddie George in the backfield behind McNair to go with Wycheck at tight end and Carl Pickens, Kevin Dyson and Yancey Thigpen at wide receiver. So many choices, with a full season still ahead. "I think that might be scary for a defense," Dyson said.
ive met hakeem at friday prayers at main center in houston when i lived there once or twice. he also had a muslim youth basketball tournament a while back. and ive seen him at eid namaz at george r. brown too. but yeah, im doin the taraweeh everynight hopefully. ------------------ people who are related dont have to look alike. my mom and dad dont resemble each other at all
I want too do taraweeh, but I gotta go to sleep at like 9:30 because I have basketball practice in the morning at 6:45 and school starts at 7:30. So I can't just wake up for Fajr and then go back to sleep and then wake up and go to school. ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! http://www.nba.com/features/hoop_jan01_shareef.html Cool article about SHareef Abdur-Rahim of the Grizz and his devotion to the Islamic faith. He talks about Olajuwon in there too. ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left!
