    If I was a Jew and I was somehow linked to the holycaust, I would be pissed! They are pretty much paying off the Jew. After the pay off, any Jew who complains, all the Nazi's or Germany has to say is, "we paid you 4.6 billion, now shut up"

    Sad ... you can't put a price on something like this!

    These aren't the Holocaust survivors we're talking about here. These are the people who were slave laborers for German companies during the War. And the reason they are getting payments is because they've sought them. And there is no gag order tied to the payments. Also, the German government themselves are saying that the payments do not make up for the treatment these people received at the hands of the Hitler regime.

    They're not buying these people off, they're making a small attempt to show that they are sorry for what happened in the past.
