    Should I start Joseph Addai?

I know he playing against Houston, but Coach Dungy has already said he will play second-team players at one point, and I don't think there is any signficance to win this game, other than to have another win in the W column. I think I'ma start Addai no matter what, your thoughts?

The real problem I can't decide on is, either starting Dallas Clark or Vernon Davis.

Dallas Clark is obviously older and will probaly get benched in some point of the game, Vernon will probaly play the whole game. But Clark has been a bigger TD threat all year. Both have good matchups, Clark vs. Hou at home and Davis vs. TB at home.

I'm leaning towards Davis. Or I could pick up Tony Scheffler (Den) who caught 7 balls last week for 100 yards and a TD. Den is playing @ SD this week (also Monday night football). Donald Lee (GB) is also on waivers, Greenbay plays in Chicago this week.

Right now I'm trying to decide based on Addai.

I'm in the superbowl. My opponent has Addai, I have Kenton Keith.

I'm stumped wondering who will end up with more carries.

I don't know if I should go with Keith as my 2nd RB, but my other options are the ****ty Adrian Peterson, Fred Jackson, or Dominic Rhodes (yuck)

    MiniMing -

I have played TE roulette with Vernon Davis, Owen Daniels, Tony Scheffler and Donald Lee all season. I thought I would be much better off with a solid TE in a good offense, I would start him every week no matter what.

Houston does give up some big plays to TEs and all reports are that Indy is going to keep their regulars in as needed. When it comes to playoffs, I tend to "leave with the one that brought you".

    moes -

You must have Brady on your team to get away with having those options for your 2nd RB. I think Keith is a decent play but if I just needed guaranteed points from the slot, I would start the other AP.

I think Addai will run a lot this week, so I'ma start him for sure. I'm leaning towards benching Dallas Clark... but idk.

So did you follow my advice or did you bench Clark?

(Of course I am posting right after Dallas Clark scores a TD)

I ended up going with Keith, and Dungy seemed to just bypass him altogether and go straight to the 3rd string guy so that kind of sucked. However, my big 3 of Moss, Roethlisberger and LT are doing their job so far, so I appear to be in good shape.

Nope, went with my gut and started Vernon Davis. He got a TD, but not 2 like Clark.

It's ok, I got a 35 point lead going into the last week. This is a ESPN league, 2 week per opponent playoff.
