finally. I hate all this crap about, Dynasty, Brady being Joe cool, The undefeated playoff record. A good team, a good run, but i'm so sick of them. Go BRONCOS. Now, I hope Indy whips up on Pittsburgh and then Denver and then Seattle. Its time for a new King. Segway. I hope Kubiak comes here

Another thing about the Patriots.. I really got tired of hearing about their "10 game playoff win streak".. They missed the playoffs in 2003.. to me, that snaps their "streak" right there. Basically, if you fail to make the playoffs, you obviously wouldn't have won in the playoffs.. so play with the numbers to make it look like they were some kind of ultra unbeatable robo-team that hadn't lost in a decade?

I hate to see my buddies team winning like this (broncos) because of how lousy my Texans are. But man. Great to see the Pats lose.
I don't know what's so great about the Pats getting booted. The marquee matchup of the playoffs just got canceled. Indy/Pitt vs Denver? yawn.
I don't see whats behind all the Pats hating. I guess it's the fact they've been so good the last several years. I guess we always want to see Goliath brought down a few notches. Either way, it didn't matter to me if they had won or lost tonight.
For me it's a combination of the tuck call (which even as somebody who dislikes the Raiders more than the Pats knows that call was BS), the fact that everyone on their defense talks smack constantly and leads with thier helmet (especially Bruschi and Harrison), and they whine constantly to the officials all game long to the point where it is almost theatrical. They claim to be the humble representatives of all that is supposed to be good about team sports, but it couldn't be further from the truth.
the Pats were awesome. incredible run. they're done for now...but they'll be back next season. great organization. reliable players. injuries kicked them in the ass this season. they'll be back.
Actually, I think the marquee matchup is on today. Colts and Steelers has the potential to be a great game.
Who repeatedly beat the crap out of Indy the past few years. I, too, was looking forward to the showdown. Would it be like years past and the Pats would go on to the championship or would it have been the year that Indy finally rose to the challenge? Oh well.

Give me a f*cking break. As I said before in another thread, Broncos have beaten the Patriots 4 out of the last 5 times they played (including twice this season). I know it is hard to believe considering how much the media likes to ride the Patriots jock that they could actually lose a game but it happened. Get over it.
I agree - Denver only won because of dumb plays and miscues from the normally solid Patriots offense and special teams.
