Okay, I'm getting sick and tired of eggs for my protein source. I need to eat some kind of protein in the morning along with my whole grain part. I would make myself protein shakes but I want other options so I won't get sick and tired of them either. What do you eat for your protein for breakfast?
i have a bowl of cereal with a cup of 2% milk. there is about 8g of protein in the milk plus whatever is in the cereal (3g for cheerios, for example).
ah no i better not foodie? smh eat one of those protein bar things if you dont want to eat eggs in the morning
I had this cereal this morning. It's really good, 9g of protein and 7g of fiber. Then there's another 4g protein and 2g fiber in the 1/2 cup of soy milk, so it's around 13g protein and 9 g fiber in all. Add a banana on top of that, and I'm full until lunch.
Dude, i think like a girl so i have NO idea what you guys are snickering about. That's my thing. I want to be full until lunch but then we're supposed to have a snack mid-morning. I just need my breakfast to be high calorie for my calorie count so i won't overeat later the day. I stopped eating cereals because they don't keep me hungry until noon.
Proteins: Yogurt, almonds, cashews, walnuts, salmon, tuna, turkey, chicken, cottage cheese, or peanut butter. Mix it up.
My breakfast is typically eggs, turkey sausage, yogurt, and fruit. I don't have lunch until after 2pm, and I'm rarely hungry until then.
I usually just eat chicken and brown rice or chicken and veggies. People have it in their head that breakfast should be some sort of "breakfast" food like cereal, eggs, bacon or something like that. Hell if you are just looking for a protein/carb ratio, just eat whatever makes sense and try to get rid of the brainwashing we have all gotten over the years of what "breakfast foods" are supposed to be.
I tried that minus the flax and fruits in the morning and I apparently barfed... am I allergic to something?
