Okay, we all know Dominos pizza is mediocre to crap depending upon your view. However, the commercial for the new oven baked subs for 5 bucks looks kinda good. Good enough to try. I mean for 5 bucks I can't really go wrong considering the main choices for subs around my hood is either Subway or Quiznos. The distinct "odor" of Subway sometimes makes me nauseous and thus I'll be trying this new Domino Sub tomorrow. Anybody tried it yet? any good?
I work there. They are really good. Philly Steak- My Favorite. Real steak, lots of cheese and of course green peppers onions and shrooms. Chicken Parm- Used to be my favorite. You cant go wrong with making a chicken parm. Has premium chicken, pizza sauce and cheese. Havent tried the others (since they have pork products and i dont eat pork) but chicken bacon ranch seems a popular choice. Let me just say that the chicken and steak used for these sandwiches is really good quality stuff. And they seem really expensive to make so 5 bucks is a really fair price. We cut the bread at the store and pretty much make it ourselves (no frozen crap). Let me know what you think after you try it.
We ordered Domino's this week, and I decided to get the pizza-and-sandwiches combo from the online coupons on Domino's website. Got the Chicken Bacon Ranch and the Chicken Parmesan.. The Verdict? HELLA GOOD!! Seriously. If they keep this up, people will stop buying the pizzas..
I got the same two last weekend and they were pretty good. I thought it was a good sub for the $5. I liked the Chicken Bacon Ranch better.
Had the Freebird Last Night Freebirds >> Chipotle *grin* might have to try one of these subs Rocket River
You know what, back when we started selling them about a month ago (they just went into commercials this week) the downtown store at main was giving away free sandwiches for a day, their goal was to give away 500 and I completely forgot to post it. Im a terrible clutchfan. I even worked that day even though thats not my store.
I wouldn't exactly say their healthy but they are damn good! http://www.dominos.com/home/menu/nutrition.jsp#side
yea i forgot to mention, their nowhere near subway type healthy. id compare it more to quiznos, more taste but not healthy.
As expected, those sandwiches provide about half of your daily fat intake, your entire saturated fat intake, and nearly your entire sodium intake (based on a 2,000-2,500 calorie diet). Get one every couple of weeks if you have to, but if you eat these things all the time (and you don't workout 3 or 4 days a week) then you are going to get fat, or should I say fatter.
