The thread title speaks for itself. 1. Look around at the titanic matchups each night around the Western Conference. It's a dogfight for the next several weeks. 2. Pressure and competition is intense and fierce. Each day, teams change seeds. It's going to happen. 3. Look at the rash of injuries. Gasol. Allen. West. Paul. Landry. We must remember from Clutch City II. Get healthy; Peak going into the Playoffs with the full rotation healthy and intact. 4. What about the streak? It tells us that this team has what it takes to make noise in the playoffs. But -- the streak is less important than getting Healthy and peaking into the playoffs. 5. We don't have to, but would we sacrifice the streak for getting healthy and peaking into the playoffs? How about being the 5th or 6th seed at full strength instead of petering out heading into the playoffs. Or would you rather hold a top 2 seed but be physically and mentally spent come playoff time? No, it's not a choice we have to make, but we must make decisions based on the right objective. 6. So, let's be careful with Landry. Don't overextend Tmac. 7. No matter what anyone says, the streak is awesome, impressive, incredible, and the best thing to happen to this franchise in over a decade. But, no matter what anyone says -- there's pressure building. You can see the team playing more tense the last 2 games. We wanted 21 in a row so bad. We want the Streak heading into the Lakers game so bad. We want to shut those ******* critics up so bad. Tmac is going back to trying to do everything himself. Alston is gripping the ball too tight. We're very, very close to putting too much pressure on ourselves rather than play loose. Everyone wants it soo bad. Let's listen to Battier - let's not put too emotion and stock into this streak. The mantra is keep playing well, keep improving as a unit, keep putting up W's as much as we can. Lots of basketball left to be played, this week and weeks beyond. Win or lose, we keep playing together, keep hustling, keep attacking, keep playing loose. (Oh God i want landry back soooooooooooooooo bad).
