So last night Floyd Mayweather appeared on WWE's ppv. He had a little interaction with the Big Show. Show got down on his knees and taunted Floyd and then Floyd proceeded to pop him in the face a few times. Now (spoiler) wrestling is a work, we all know that. But Floyd delivered serious hits and illegitimately broke the Big Show's nose and bloodied him up good. The guy was bleeding bad from his mouth and nose, and had not bladed himself. I'm not sure if it was planned for Floyd to deliver those real hits or not, but Show took some serious shots to the face.
It's been confirmed that he suffered a legit broken nose. That youtube video I posted isn't great because it cuts off before the replay, but on the replay they show clearly where he takes a left hand right into the side of his nose and under his eye.
Well obviously the moment was staged, but I think Floyd took the moment to really throw some stiff punches to show how bad he is. It wouldn't be the first time. Pro Wrestlers have done it for years when they get celebrities who brag about it being a work. I think it was two years ago when the Jackass guys were on a live Raw episode and were no selling some moves by Umaga so he started working real stiff with one of them.

i don't think I've heard of a wrestler using fake blood. Normally they do a "blade job" to bleed during matches.
OK, I hadn't heard about the Jackass/Umaga thing before. I looked it up on Youtube. That's some of the funniest stuff I've seen. The guy was doing all his moves and then they'd get up and laugh at him. Then the wrestler got pissed and started doing stuff to legitimately hurt Steve-O. LOL.
WWE wanted it to look as real as possible so they told Floyd to throw some real stiff shots. Maybe too stiff.
this reminds me of WWF involving other sports icons like Tyson and Lawerence Taylor in the past............
Yeah. You see Steve-O laughing and then Umaga starts hitting him hard. You can see Steve-O like beg him to stop and say ok enough already. Wrestling is a work, but the guys bust their butts off and don't like to be shown up. Bob Holly has beaten the snot out a few guys in the ring, and Bret Hart tells a story of a Japanese worker beating him up so bad he couldn't walk.

Dude, that was a bit crazy. Floyd ran like a gazelle after those pops would have been interesting if he had been caught.
I'll never forget when a young John Stossel (20/20 'give me a break' guy) confronted David Schultz about how wrestling was staged and Schultz just decked him twice right on camera. Edit: Maybe Hogan was standing next to him or something -- the 2 knockdowns eventually cost Schultz 425,000 bucks and possibly his job. edit 2: Maybe Hogan was in the show at some point (just saw the vid)
