    This is kind of an odd question to ask but I'll go ahead anyways....
    Can anyone tell me what kind of flower this is? A friend of mine is trying to figure out what kind of flower this is and she's been at it for a while now but to no avail. I have no earthly idea. Thanks in advance.

    This doesn't help much, but it's definitely not a dandelion. Dandelions kinda resemble a sunflower I think.

    It looks like some kind of hyacinth to me but the stem doesn't look right.

    It's a variety of the "stock" flower. It's tough to google due to the generic name "stock." The one in the picture is a hybrid. It likely has a pretty strong scent. The hybrid shown is a derivative of the genus Matthiola, I think.

    no clue.

    i would take it to Buchannan's on 11th just east on Heights Blvd. they are very knowledgable, esp on native plants in the area.

    The leaves of that plant look like an orchid, but I've never seen orchid flowers like that...
