Fresh off the ridiculous game against Cleveland, I think the Rox should immediately flop right after Yao gets called for one of his bogus offensive fouls. It was exactly what Artest did to Lebron after Yao got called on one of his fouls. Artest basically ran into Lebron's back and fell down. The refs blew a foul on Lebron which was equally wrong compared to what happened with yao and varajeo. It always seems the refs know they dicked up a call on Yao and give a call back shortly thereafter. Only problem is that leaves Yao with foul trouble. So I say once he is whistled, whoever is guarding the other teams best player should take a horrible dive the second any contact is made. If anything, force the ref to call something even if it is a tech on our guy. At least that might make them gunshy to call another one on Yao later. Maybe its stupid, but something has to be done. Yao has been in the league 7 years. It is a shame he gets factored out of a "big" regular season game by the refs. you know Lebron or Kobe or someone like that would have to basically rip off someone's head before picking up their fourth foul one minute into the third quarter.
no, what i would do is stand still at that spot and SCREAM THAT WAS A FLOP. say it loud enough, embarrass yourself and the league and maybe the refs will freakin' stop it.
I really don't understand how every fan in the world(except Utah losers) know when a flop is a flop but the officials don't.
If I were Yao, I'd be tempted to go right after a guy like Varejao and purposefully charge right at him with my knee out and make sure I fall on him with the full force of 310 pounds. I'd then tell him that from then on he would have to earn his flops. Hopefully it's not a flagrant, but if it is it might be worth it. I guess if I were a professional bball player I'd have a little bit of a mean streak.
