You can purchase models between 2.5 million and 6.5 million each. I'm sure there will be a lot more of these in the near future.

Has anyone seen the Palm Islands of Dubai? Pretty much the same thing and you can already buy house there.
I never realized "The World" was so close to "The Palm". That is "The World" in the back isnt it??? You ever see the pics of the guy's (who is building all that stuff) house??? Looks like freaking Atlantis!!! What $3 a gallon will get you!!!
I believe the price tag was 3 billion. It was part of their reinvestment plan. I guess they think oil is starting to run out and they want to bank on tourism.
All that is being built in Dubai. And Dubai does not have that much oil to begin with. So they are focusing strongly on tourism to keep up with Abu Dhabi. For those who dont know: There are four of those islands. Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, The World and Palm Diera. They are building the worlds tallest building - The Burj. Its going to be 151 stories. Building the worlds first underwater hotel. Two of the worlds biggest malls. And a bunch of other crap that barely anyone in America knows about.
