Is it just me or is Adobe Flash crashing too much lately? Seems like every browsing session it decides to take a big crap on my computer, and i know its not my laptop. Any similar experiences? Anyone have a fix?

    Flash sucks.

    Steve Jobs agrees.

I disabled it in Chrome. Sometimes that's a problem when I want to see Youtube videos, but then I watch those in Safari or Opera, but do my main browsing in Chrome.

I'm running Firefox and have the same issue.

In fact, I am finding this latest version of FF is a real resource hog once you use it for more than 30-45 mins w/o closing/restarting and IE9 isn't much better.

Any other browsers easier on resources?

Yes, I keep the browser open and flash is always running and both FF and flash together take up ton of resources. I am thinking of switching to google just b/c the crashes and resource hog but not loose the add-on etc. .

A lot of video depends on flash right? A lot of games too.

    Any way around it?

A friend is trying to make a game. She using flash and us getting concerned.

    Flash is the standard.
There is no way around it.
98% market penetration. Unless HTML5 gets popular, which it won't.
