Flac (shorten, whatever) to mp3 conversion

    I searched around a bit and couldn't find much, BBS-wise, and I was wondering if any big bit torrent and easytree users can help me.

    I'm looking for an mp3 converter that I can use more than once before the shareware asks me to buy it. I'm looking to buy a converter, but I would actually like to see if it is any good first before wasting 20 bucks on it. dB Poweramp was good, but it gave my laptop the shakes and asked me to buy it after I'd used it a couple of times. Any other options?

    Try going to download.com and searching for something like mp3 and convert or converter.

    I convert the flac file to a .wav file using FLAC Frontend, and then I use Freerip to convert the .wav file to mp3.

    I'm sure there must be a program that converts the flac to mp3, but I haven't really looked for one.
