I like the Beast look. Angel's wings aren't too big- the actor looks small. They probably did this by design. I would like to see Gambit, too, but I have no problem with them keeping him for the next movie - you can't have too many charasmatic characters on screen at once. I'm rather sick of Storm though. I've always thought that she was a weak character, and this rumored love interest with Wolverine sounds contrived.
I think this is the last movie by contract for the big players. Barry and Jackman (getting his own movie) as well as Picard and the rest are not signed on for sequels. Of them all, though, I think Halle is the most likely to not show up in the fourth. She was upset that she didn't get big roles in the first in second movies (because midway from production of X2 she actually became famous) so she is likely to dominate screentime with Wolvie in X3. From what I've read, she even was against adding new characters, such as Gambit who was planned to show up. Now storm ain't too bad in the comics and such, but by no means is she one of the big players. She's there to just get PMS'y and have her eyes turn white and lightning bolt everyone. But I guess with Jean dead, they have no one else to have a lead female role.
After reading AICN's rant about the script, I'd be awfully shocked if this movie turned out as anything other than a huge turd.
Would Gambit have to be a teenager or college-like "student" too since Rogue was one in the last movie? I kind of liked it when they were all adults like in the comic books..
I just don't see why they couldn't have made him furry all over I do like the casting choice though, Kelsey has a voice that I would think Beast would have, like the guy in the cartoon. Ben Foster as Angel though, ugh. Angel went from cocky rich playboy to street punk. Ben Foster was the guy with the piercings in Punisher, right? I remember him from Hostage as that insane kid.
Good ****, she's under contract. Make her do what you want. If she refuses, thank her for her time and fire her ass. There's no freaking way Storm is a major player in the XMen. Putting that character into a lead role is ridiculous.
