First they came to Texas to "lock down the border". They used imminent domain to "purchase" land from ranchers, occupy land, and has now declared massive swaths of land as National Defense Areas. They supplanted local law enforcement. I said nothing. Next they came to California to support immigration agents by deploying thousands of the Marines and the National Guard. State and local politicians asked them to leave but Trump ceased power. I said nothing. Next they came to Washington DC to control the homeless population and "fight crime". The DC Mayor's authority has been unwillingly usurped. I said nothing. Americans and legal residents are being snatched off the street by masked agents in unmarked vehicles and deported to far away lands and/or sent to "Alligator Alcatraz", which is constructed exactly like any concentration camp. I said nothing. When they came for me, there was nobody left to say anything.
The Democrats let things get so out of control (border, crime in their cities, etc) that it takes an overhaul to fix it. Trump is securing the border and reducing crime. Those are great things, no? GOOD DAY
And they are coming for you! (US!!) Who knew the U.S. democracy was so fragile . .. . . . Rocket River
It's not WHAT he is doing, it's HOW he's doing it. The cliche, "the ends justify the means", comes to mind. Dictatorships typically have low crime, by incarcerating and murdering all the "criminals", with no due process. There, fixed it - no crime. In a Dictatorship, what is a crime anyway? Two weeks ago(!), a South Korean woman was here legally on an R-2 visa. She was targeted outside her dorm room in Indiana, apprehended her and eventually sent to Alligator Alcatraz. At some point nobody even knew where she was. She wasn't afforded any communications. Literally snatched off the street. How many innocent people in America need to get rounded up by masked secret police before we recognize this is exactly what America stands AGAINST. The whole point of America is a rebellion against tyranny.
Listen, no one is going to bat one thousand... there will be misses, but there is a process. After a routine hold period, necessary corrections are made and things get sorted out, as they did here. The process works. What we can't have is ICE afraid to detain credible suspects for fear of making a mistake -- because we must reverse the damage done by Biden's open borders. This is a Biden problem that Trump is now making a great effort to fix -- on behalf of our nation. GOOD DAY
John Adams knew: “Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.” There were similar quotes by Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson but none as blunt as this one by Adams. The founding fathers were absolutely aware how fragile it is.
How about you use that SAME logic but apply it in reverse. If you assume nobody bats 1000, then go fix the existing systems to improve crime. In America, you are PRESUMED INNOCENT. No doctor sees you have a toe infection and the very first recommendation is to amputate. Again, the issue isn't WHAT Trump is doing, it's HOW he's doing it.
