No joke... (not original video by the way, just love the edit) <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vgAdSMMdFmI&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vgAdSMMdFmI&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> At about 2:30 into the song... Message in a Bottle. wish i saw them in concert. I purchased tickets.
This song probably started my whole fixation with the eclectic tastes. Not unlike Mozart, I had conducted a symphony on my fisher price piano at the tender age of 4. At 5 I had dismissed Floyd as Zep as pompous wankers and listened only to original recordings of King Crimson while I sipped chai tea. At 8 I discovered Brit-Pop and had a Noel Gallagher Lunchbox. The kids teased me but I knew better than they did. By 10 I was listening to Cohen and Young and bashing Dylan for being too "******* sugary." At 12 I was caught up in Radiohead and my AOL screename fluctuated between fitterhappier69 and planettelex_666. By 14 I had invented my own language and sung it in falsetto while playing my guitar with a violin bow.
