It's that tie of year again, unfortunately. The first snowfall is happening right now, and we're expected to get 1 to 6 inches tonight. More of the same for the next 4 months, at least. Anyone else had to deal with the white stuff so far?
I haven't had to deal with any winter precipitation yet but I have had to deal with winter temperatures. Been in the low 30s during the night and mornings over the past few days, probably worse where you're at although I love winter time. Where you located at anyway?
there's a freeze warning in harris county tonight, i believe. freeze warning harris county, texas october 28 wow
Me and my brother were drinking beers outside and once it hit 57 degrees we had to move inside. That's like dangerous and stuff here.
I'm outside of Buffalo, Ny. As far as the snow in 2005, that was the last time I was down to visit Houston. It followed us down. All my family lives down there. Seeing my grandmother making a snowman in Lake Jackson was one of the greatest things in my life.
Ah, the radar map I saw an hour or so ago showed freezing rain and sleet up there too, maybe not in the Buffalo area but in Pennsylvania and southern New York.
Technically, I'm in the Southwestern corner of Ny. I'm about 8 miles North of the PA line, and about 40 miles East of Erie, Pa.
There was freezing rain/light snow in Winter 89/90. Remember because pipes burst all over the house in Baytown and we had to replace all the carpet and put faux wood paneling on all the walls. My leather Ellesse mocassins were destroyed. And idiot older brother came in and threw some on snow on me while I was sleeping.
Light, but all snow. It's starting to pile up on the balcony here, and the sidewalk. Looks like it's trying to accumulate on the road.
You're not too far from me -- I'm in Toronto at the moment. No snow here right now, although we're supposed to get some.
Up here in Ontario it's snowing heavily. I've never seen this much snow in October. Hope that classes will be cancelled tomorrow.
Here in NYC, today it was rainy(wet), windy, and 38 degrees. I think that's the worst. I'd rather have snow.
The only thing I envy the Dallas area for is [consistent] snow. They get snowfall at least once a year. Houston, on the other hand, gets snow once every five to ten years. Ice storms are another story though...
We had some snow on Sunday in MN but mostly it was freezing rain and didn't stick. For y'all Texans who want to see more snow just remember you don't have to shovel rain.
