The playoffs are a differnt animal and teams that run PnR solely down the stretch will not succeed. Our offensive game plan sucks, Westbrook is about to go off for 4,000 a night against Lin.

Game 1 against LA back in 2009 will be similar to what will happen in Oklahoma this Sunday....

    Difference is:

OKC this year > Mavs that year

Rockets this year < Warriors that year

Warriors were on a somewhat hot streak going into the playoffs while the Rockets couldn't even beat the worst team in the West going into the playoffs.

I doubt the Houston crowd would be as great as the GS crowd and serve as a mental block for visiting teams as well.

I'm proud of our team for getting this far. I hope they play their asses off and take a game or two away from the Thunder. Or, even better, shock the world.

If our guys play well, but McHale continues to make blatant coaching errors and incompetent decisions that influence game outcomes, it will be a blessing to see him go.

OKC takes it 4-1. I'm just hoping we put up a fight and not get completely run over, this matchup is brutal.

    I agree with this post.

I voted 4-1 because I think the Thunder blow us out in the first two games and get a little lazy with one of the Houston games.

Will be hard to watch our offense in playoff atmosphere. :(

I say we get one at home. I'll be happy with that as long as they fight throughout.

This is a real possibility. Russ is quite capable of losing his mind when frustrated. Sic 'em, Bev!

It will be a swept, UNLESS McHale decided 1) defense is important, 2) Hero Ball is not the best option.

Tough match up for us, but we're going to see how our guys play under playoff pressure. Also will be interesting to see what Mchale and the coaching staff will do as well. I think we'll find out who's going to be keeper and who's going to be expendable in this series.

We're going to suprise everyone by winning one of the first 2 and get everyone's hopes up, and then blow it at home and depress everyone again. :(

Depends on which Rockets team show up, the one that emphasizes team-ball or iso-ball. If they play like how they did yesterday against an injury-plagued Lakers team, they will most likely be swept in 4 games. If they play like how they did in the OKC win last time, maybe they could steal a game or two.

It will be good experience for the lads. Aside from that, the only victories in this series for the Rockets are likely to be moral ones.

Brain: we win game four; over in five at OKC - Thunder win 4-1.
Heart: if we push the series to six, it will have been a great year.
Homer: we lose game two in OKC; over in five at OKC - Rockets win 4-1.

I think we will only win game 7.
